Surgical Pathology
Our surgical pathology practice is based at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota. All of our pathologists have residency training in surgical pathology. Three pathologists have fellowship training in surgical pathology.
We offer routine turn around time of 24-48 hours for biopsies and surgical resection specimens.
Frequent intradepartmental consultations ensure high quality. When warranted, external consultations can provide additional confirmation and information.
We offer a synoptic reporting system for cancerous resection specimens which provides all of the necessary grading and staging information.
Our immunoperoxidase laboratory offers assistance for difficult diagnostic problems.
If your biopsy was interpreted elsewhere, we are happy to review it for additional peace of mind.
